1:1 Companionship—Writing for Formation

Our writing forms us. When we listen to our own words with compassion and curiosity, they teach us. Sometimes we just need a little help knowing where to begin.

For these one-on-one sessions, I will send you prompts ahead of time to write with. At the session, we’ll talk a while: I’ll ask you thoughtful questions and listen with you to your words. After, I’ll follow up with some personal, individualized writing prompts to take you further.

These sessions can be online (via Zoom) or at a park, open space, or coffee shop near Walnut Creek, CA.

Cost: $85-145 per hour (pay what you can)

The Next Blank Page: A Writing Journey

Growth is slow, and often imperceptible. We live at the edge between who we have been and who we are becoming. Writing is a powerful tool for discovery, a path for exploring our interior worlds.

The Next Blank Page is an 8-week writing journey. Each week, you will receive an envelope in your mailbox with writing prompts for the week, along with tangible elements for inspiration. The journey will culminate on Zoom, where writers can connect, learn with and from one another, and celebrate what has emerged.

Details:
8 writing prompts will arrive in your mailbox weekly, beginning at the end of March (shipped 3/21). Join us on Zoom at the end of the journey for a time of sharing and celebration.
Register by March 10th.
